"Oh, but I do a lot of good..."

I have heard a lot of people say, “I do a lot of good, I help people, I go out of my way to be kind, I pay my taxes…..I treat my wife or husband the way I should….

And they usually say that as a reason as to why they don't go to church, and why they don't believe in God, and why they don't need to trust in Jesus.

And all of the stuff they say they do is wonderful..but.....

If they are of the opinion that they do all this wonderful stuff, and they do the "right' thing by everybody, and they don't think they need the Bible and they don't believe it anyway....Where do they get these ideas from?

I mean the ideas that they are doing the right thing, that they are treating their families right...and that they live right.....where does the idea come from that they are doing a lot of good?

In whose opinion are they doing a lot of good!

They admit they don't believe in God....so it can't come from someone you don't believe in...so where does all this doing good...come from...whose idea is it?
Who started it?

If these people are honest, they have to admit that it has to have a beginning from somewhere!

I saw a nature show on the telly once, where a monkey had to cross a river....she was carrying a baby on her front belly and as she went into the river, the water got right up to her neck,you could actually see the little hands of her baby hanging on, but......the baby died....why????? Because the monkey did not have the sense to pull her baby up out of the water, not even just it's little head, it could not think like that. We do!
A human mum would not have let that happen!

So, going by all the many examples we see, humans do not come from monkeys, and evolution has stopped, so then we must have come from God.It's the only "other" answer! Then the Bible must be right too, as that is God's rule book, and the Bible says in Isaiah chapter 64:6 " For all of us have become like one who is unclean ( in the Bible unclean is having leprosy)and all of our righteous deeds are like filthy rags,garments,......did you see that? "

ALL OUR RIGHTEOUS DEEDS ARE LIKE FILTHY RAGS"

And that is why God sent His Son....so we could be washed in His shed blood, and bought with that shed blood...so we are "blood bought" Jesus owns us,
He died for us,
He paid with His life for us!
And those good deeds we do, we now do, because Jesus asks us to do them, so we do them for HIM and that way we are wearing garments that are "White as snow" the Bible says.

In the Old testament we read, in Psalm 103;12... "AS far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our sins from us.... and....God forgets.....
We all know, the east and west never meet....they are named by mathematicians "infinity" never ending....ever and ever....that is how much GOD forgives, as long as we accept Jesus and do as he asks of us!

As human beings, we can never forget anything that has been done against us, we must and should forgive, but we never forget! But God can....because He is God!

As soon as Adam sinned, his guilt made him try and hide from God. And in reality, that is what an atheist/evolutionist tries to do in his mind.....hide from God.
He lives in denial of the existence of the ONE he has sinned against.

In truth, his denial makes him run from God, like a criminal runs from the law!
