GOD WILL SUSTAIN YOU
I read a beautiful Scripture this morning.
In Psalm 68:9 (NET) David speaks about God's inheritance and He says:
"When they are tired, you sustain them, for you live among them."
Are you feeling weary?
Our strength wanes easily, doesn't it?
But God's strength is an everlasting strength (Isaiah 26:4).
It never runs out.
Come to Him.
Draw from His everlasting strength.
Thank Him for His strength and He will sustain you.
He is the Rock of ages who is always there for you.

Letter to Shirley
Hi Shirley,
I just want to tell you how much I miss you.
I know you are in a much better place than here, and being with Jesus is the best, but I still miss you.
I did so enjoy all the deep and meaningful talks we had....talks about things that other people thought were silly, but we thought they were o.k.
And the laughs we had.....Oh, I start laughing already again, just thinking about it...remember when you lost your stockings in the main street....hilarious wasn't it?
Remember when one of your grand children was buying a house almost right at your back fence, and you were so happy to have them so close by?
Then you left, to go to Jesus.....they left...... to go way down south.....and then...later....overseas!
Remember when your grandson started going out with “that” girl?
You were so worried about him. You did not think she was any where near good enough for him...and would lead him astray, and away from the Lord....
Well, Shirl, my best friend and mate......you will be happy to know that they did get married, have two beautiful children, a girl and a boy,
and......he is the youth pastor at church......he also preaches.......he did last Sunday actually, and you would have been so proud of him....
I glanced over to where you used to sit, and imaged you with a big smile on your face and tears in your eyes, from happiness!
Funny, how, as we get older, we get more teary eyed, isn’t it?
And his lovely young wife, well she has also “preached” to a whole lot of ladies... at a conference....she was sharing her testimony...beautiful!
Isn’t it amazing how we worry about things,
our children........
then their children....... and it hardly ever turns out the way “we” think,
as long as we leave it to the Lord....
Still miss you though Shirl.......... this world is not like it used to be!
It’s going down fast!

EXODUS CHAPTER 12
And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying,
2 "This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.
5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:
And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.
7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.
10 And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
11 And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the Lord's pass-over.
12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord.
And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the Lord throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
16 And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.
17 And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this self same day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the pass-over.
22 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.
23 For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.
24 And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.
25 And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the Lord will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.
26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?
27 That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the Lord's pass-over, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped. And the children of Israel went away, and did as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
THIS WAS THE FIRST PASS-OVER!

GOD knows it all!
We do not see what God sees.
If I am looking at a note pad that is laying on my desk here, all I can see is the cover, if it’s laying on it’s back,
or the back of it,...... if it is laying on the front.
I cannot see anything that has been written on its pages........
I don’t know if there are photos or drawings...or just writing......the pad is closed and I cannot see what is inside it.
Well....that is not how it is with God.......
God knows everything about that pad.....
He knows the atoms that hold it together....
He knows who made the pages and even who made the machinery that was used to put the paper together.....
He knows who was standing where....working the machine.......even where the machine was placed at the time of making the paper....
He knows how the man worked who made the machine......whether he was a good worker or not....He even knows what was on the man’s heart, while he was working.
God knows who will buy that pad, and what it will be used for...eventually!
God knew it would lay on my desk...sooner or later....and what I will be using it for.....
This is why we cannot understand what God’s ways are...."His ways are not our ways"..........
All we can do is love Him....’ believe in Him.......
and then trust in Him........as He only want’s what’s best for us....and He knows that too....what’s best for us, even if we don’t agree with it....
and that would be because we don’t know what is waiting for us in the future...BUT HE DOES!
So....it might seem that all is not going so good for us at the moment, but believe me....Trust in God and lean not on your own understanding!
The biggest mistake we make is thinking we don’t need God, and can manage life without Him...we all need to be saved!
Jesus died for us, to save us...... because of our sins..... and we all sin......So....sin must have been pretty important...... for Jesus to have to die for it!
